Curling is a game which is played and enjoyed by all age groups in communities across Scotland and is renowned for its proud history, traditions and great friendships.
The Royal Caledonian Curling Club (RCCC), trading as Scottish Curling, was established in 1838 and is the National Governing Body for the sport of Curling in Scotland.

There is strong tradition of curling in Dundee with the oldest local club having been formed in 1800. This tradition is continued to this day at Dundee Ice Arena which has six curling rinks and offers curling to eleven local curling clubs on a Monday and Tuesday.
Working in partnership with DIA, the local curling clubs work together under the banner of Curl Dundee, to actively encourage participation in Curling and particularly welcome newcomers to the sport. All new curlers are made most welcome as we share the Scottish Curling commitment to “promoting the sport and increasing participation levels among all ages, sexes and abilities”.
We run a programme of Try Curling sessions aimed at giving new curlers the opportunity to come along and “have a go” in a friendly and supported environment. These sessions are run under the guidance of our team of experienced coaches. In addition, we run a programme of coached Beginners and Improvers sessions for those interested in developing their interest in curling.
