TRY CURLING SESSIONS
Try Curling Sessions at DIA are open to anyone of any age or ability interested in finding out more about participating in the sport.
Try Curling sessions provide a great taster to the sport with an introduction to the basics and information on how the game is played.
All of the sessions are delivered by Scottish Curling qualified coaches.
Comprises
A ninety minute session at Dundee Ice Arena led by curling coaches who will
- Provide all the equipment you require (simply wear warm clothes and have clean dry trainers to put on)
- Take you through the basics of the game
- Brief you on the measures to follow to keep you safe when moving onto and around on the ice
- Provide the opportunity to practice delivering stones and sweeping!
By the end of the session you should have gained enough of an understanding of the sport to consider whether further participation would be enjoyable and worthwhile.
